-Log into the MTR on the admin side

-Open registry Editor drill down to

1. HKEY Local Machine

2. Software

3. Microsoft

4. Windows

5. Current version

6. SystemprotectedUserData

7. Skype SID Folder. It should end in 1001 (below is a PS CMD that can check this)

8. AnyoneRead

9. Colors

10.  In that folder you will see HighContrastEnabled - DATA will show a 1. You need to change it to a Zero.

11. You will need to edit the permissions on the Colors folder

12. Right click Colors folder go to permissions

13.  Go to Add, then In the dialog box and Type  Administrators then hit Check Names

14. Now you will see the UCE host name\administrator click OK

15. Now Select the new Admin and make sure you check the boxes to allow full control

16. This will now allow you to Modify the High ContrastEnable  Data value to Zero.

17. You can now exit the system and it will reboot without High contrast enabled.
